Carnival Pride • At Sea / Port Canaveral, FL

Day 3: Tuesday, January 3, 2012. If the ship's a rockin', Diane won't be gettin' up and jumpin' for joy in the mornin'. She was joined in the seasickness by her sister, and the boys decided to head to the Lido deck around 9:15am to secure a suitable breakfast.

Around noon, we got the thumbs-up from Diane to head out and try some trivia, and our travelmates soon joined us for some spirited competition.

Score one for the home team! Ultimate Mind Game trivia was no match for my ultimate mind! :) Not many photos from this day... we grabbed lunch on Lido, watched the Newlywed Game in the lounge, had tea time at 3:30pm, the past guest party at 4:30pm, then prepped for dinner.

This would be our maitre'd, whose name eludes me. I have the name "Floyd" typed into the notes on my phone, but I don't think that be this dude.

Last shot of the day, after the juggler show and heading to Lido for pizza & ice-cream, where Dennis convinced me to hide so he could tell Diane & Emily that I'd been arrested by security for trying to enter the ladies restroom. Good times, good times.

Day 4: Wednesday, January 4, 2012. Port Canaveral. We decided to spend the day enjoying the less-full ship, as we couldn't find a thing offshore we wanted to do. Here, Diane & I pose by the pool.

This bird was awesome at posing for photos, until he decided to fly at us in a vicious attack.

We headed back to our cabins for warmer clothing, then out to the Serenity area around 11:00am to relax for a while.

Big chair! Chilly air! Snuggle time.

Posing for a shot with the only visible thing that stated the name of the ship. Awesome. We failed to take pics of our afternoon mini-golf though.

One of the few photos of food that appear in this album... Diane and her tiramisu!

I finally snagged a decent shot of our waiters... our headwaiter was I Nyoman from Indonesia (with the brownish vest); our assistant was Htay from Myanmar (sporting the colorful flamenco arms).

This would be another plastic-gold-ship-on-a-stick, won from a song trivia game. The remainder of the evening contained more games, watching auditions for the Legends Show, and eventually culminated in the Mexican buffet.

Our towel offering for the evening, which I believe to be a frog. Good night!
