Welcome to the Carnival Triumph!

I decided to take my mom's lead on the morning of Day Four and go for some stewed prunes!

The prunes were followed by the awesomeness of pancakes, omelet, and corned beef hash!

As a pre-lunch snack, we hit the pizza counter and I grabbed a slice of "De Chevre", with garlic, mushrooms, and goat cheese.

My lunch buffet sampling #1 was from the normal buffet line, which included lamb, ziti, tilapia, chicken scallopini, "crossover fajitas", and mulligatawney soup.

Lunch sampling #2 was the "Taste of Nations" Indian buffet, where I hit up some MORE mulligatawney, shikampuri kebab, chicken tikka, grilled tawa fish, potato & pea samosa, paneer tikka, and laccha paratha.

The iffy desserts on the buffet included carrot cake and a really odd, fluffy layered thing.

Ah, back to dinner in the dining room... Diane started off with fried mozzerella triangles.

This was a potato soup that we had heard good things about, and it did not disappoint.

The spiciest thing I had eaten in a LOOOONG time... Tom Ka Gai! Regretted it, planning to do it AGAIN next time! Yesss!!!

I don't remember what this was, but it looks like steak skewers. This must have been my "salad" choice, as I have photos of two entrees already below... odd.

My mom went all out with the "Assorted Seafood, Newberg Style".

My "spa" selection was a broiled fish, which turned out fairly oily, with some sweet potato.

The veg selection was much better... black bean & veg enchiladas!

Diane's ultimate favorite dessert... tiramisu!

I went with the bread pudding, deliciously decadent and sweet.
