Welcome to the Grand Cayman Turtle Farm! Yes, it's a farm, as opposed to a preserve or a sanctuary, so you can eat turtle in their restaurant. We, however, did no such thing.

One of the turtles (not this one) was over 80 years old and fairly huge.

These medium-sized turtles you can pick up because they're still fairly cute, as demonstrated by our bus driver, "Ice-Man".

Apparently if you rub them under the chin, as I'm trying to do here, they'll quit smacking you with their flippers. After this picture, Diane went to release the turtle and got a nice splashing.

Our last stop of the tour was the Tortuga Rum Company, home of famous rum-related things like rum cakes.

Ice-Man poses with this rum-guarding pirate outside the entrance to the shop. Whoever keeps their foot on the barrel longest gets to drink all the rum!

Hey, it's that same wacky rum-guarding pirate again, posing with some cute people!

Inside the shop, Diane & I stand in line to sample their famous rum cakes. Here, we got to try regular, chocolate, banana, key lime, and coconut.

Back onboard and waiting for a show in the Caribbean Lounge, I take a shot of Diane & myself, a little redder than before.
