Welcome to the Carnival Pride!

Day 4: Wednesday, January 8, 2014 - Port Canaveral, Florida

We found land again! We booked an Alligator Airboat Tour as our Florida excursion.

Welcome to the Lone Cabbage fishing camp.

Really? We're on an alligator tour. There might be alligators?! Really?! :)

Thanks Economy Fence! I guess this one fence panel was all they could afford. There really was no more fence. This amused me.

We started our tour with a showing of animals from the CARE Foundation. This guy was channeling Britney Spears at the MTV awards several years back.

This was an oppossum that apparently thought it was a cat. Totally tame, not afraid of people, lived inside with this dude, and completely unsuited for the wild.

It's one of them monkey things. Every time he put it down, it gave the sign for "hug" to be picked up again. Cute.

An alligator! I thought it was a baby, but apparently it's a runt that's actually 17 years old. We didn't know it yet, but this was the only alligator we'd be seeing today, due to the chilly, cloudy conditions.

Okay, this is technically another alligator. I came, I saw, I devoured! And I'm wearing my "I'm Having A FunDay" sticker! (The company is called FunDay Tours.)

Diane sports her ear protection aboard the airboat. Them motors are loud!

This is what happens when you get cold, yet still have to protect your ears from the drone of the motor.

Airboat earmuff selfie! We saw no alligators on the ride, but saw plenty of birds. And cows, actually, Weird.

This is my "I'm-getting-eaten-by-an-alligator" face!!!

I'm not sure what this face is. :D
