Cruise 2013 Page 2 of 9 Welcome to the Carnival Pride! Day 2: Monday, January 6, 2014 - At Sea! Exploring the ship in the morning, we came across the interior promenade area. Pretty sweet, especially given that we weren't yet out of the cold weather! The art on the ceiling of the dining room area, where we enjoyed our breakfast. Atriums and glass elevators! I always feel compelled to take at least one of these pics per cruise. It's pretty, yo! :) A better view from our balcony, overlooking the space between the lifeboats. The specialty restaurant, David's Steakhouse, features an enormous statue of David with all his enormity. Selfie in the red light of David's Steakhouse, at a cooking demo. David's is situated under a transparent portion of the ship's main funnel, giving everything an evil red glow. Cooking demo, featuring cake decorating, fruit carving, and... cooking! This is Diane. She's chilling. Her sweatshirt has jewels on it. Lots of chilling happens on a cruise. Especially on a sea day. I think I'm done with this caption. :) Tea time! We enjoyed some tea and cakes and things, then we bailed, as Diane wasn't feeling so well. Diane. Not feeling well. Sad face. She recovered in time for our first formal dinner of the cruise. We so cute! Our evening papers and whatnot, and our invites to the exclusive "VIFP Party" for Gold and higher peeps. Our towel animal, which be an elephant.
