Welcome to the Carnival Fantasy!

Woo hoo! We learned from our mistake last time, and made it all the way past the grille to the buffet for lunch! Here be a medley of things that I forgot... I know it's pasta fagiole soup, a stuffed tomato, some cheesy taters, and some other stuff.

This ship offers a salad bar, and I went straight for the prapared salads and such. Then there was this sad, dry, little cupcake. Dessert at lunch = ick.

Dinner time in the dining room! We start off with Diane's fave... the baguette of yum!

Diane's app #1: Tropical Fruits with Mango Coulis.

Jason's app #1: Cured Salmon & Candied Tomato with Dill Cream, Stewed Apples and Grapes in Lemon Dressing.

Diane app #2: Caesar Salad.

Jason's app #2: Gazpacho Andalouse with Diced Plum Tomatoes, Peppers, Cucumbers and Mediterranean Herbs.

Diane's meal: Pan Seared Filet of Tilapia with Green Pea Fondue, Vichy Carrots, and Mac & Cheese.

Jason's meal #1: Sweet & Sour Shrimp with Scallion, Garlic, and Shrimp Fried Rice Noodles.

Jason's meal #2: The vegetarian offering... Indian Vegetarian Dinner with Cottage Cheese & Peas, Roasted Veg Mash, Slow Cooked Chick Peas, and Indian Bread with Cumin & Red Onions.

Diane's dessert: Carnival's classic Chocolate Melting Cake. Needed to have been in the oven a bit longer though.

Jason's dessert: Black Forest Gateau, which be a Chocolate Cake filled with Bing Cherries, Heavy Cream, and Kirschwasser.

Jason's other thing he ate: the cheese plate. I asked for one piece of each of the five cheeses offered, but ended up with three Bries. Oh well.
