Welcome to the Carnival Triumph!
The start of breakfast on Day Three, a refreshing spiced apple.
My breakfast went on to this assortment of waffle, omelet, and sausage.
Diane opted for the omelet with hash browns and corned beef hash.
Lunch was at the oceanside restaurant at the Nassau hotel we bought a "day pass" for... a wrap whose contents I don't remember, with a side salad.
We did get our first official taste of conch fritters at the Nassau eatery!
Back to dinner in the dining room on the ship, Diane's very favorite bread in the entire world... the baguette.
Appetizer course started off with the asparagus vichyssoise.
My mother opted for the fried shrimp with some sort of plum dipping sauce.
Diane's app? Her favorite caprese combination of tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella.
My veg selection for the evening was the zucchini tortellini, an interesting spin on a pasta substitute.
My mother rocked out with a huge hunk of cow!
My mother's friend got the "oven roasted tom turkey" with green bean fries.
I went for a fish that I don't remember, paired with some awesome tempura-style fried veg and sweet potato mash.
My veggie selection was a vegetable lasagna.
Diane's favorite pumpkin pie, which was on the "diet" menu for the evening.
And I decided to close with a nice assortment of melon and tropical fruit.
